With so much regards VAR in the press, the debate will continue until it is absolutely the norm, which it will become.  When technology fails us what do we do, stop the game, postpone or get on with the game the same way as we already do and the referee’s decision is final, if buzzer flags break, referees go back to doing it the correct way and looking over to see if the assistants flag is up. So if VAR isn’t working, then it’s not working and we carry on anyway.

This game being replayed is setting very bad precedence on future referee decisions. and how matches are decided.
