After complaints from captain Danny Bell and manager Luke Barraclough over the decision to move AOS FC 3 leagues above, with no trophy or recognition, there was no luck and AOS FC on their 6th game played their first in the top division.

A steady game to begin, playing a mid-low table team, Luke drafted Chad Lake in for the injured Ryan Hall. An early goal by Danny Bell was followed by ten minutes of quick passing and moving from AOS, with the game plan to keep possession and tire out their opponents. Near to half time, the plan started to pay off with quickfire goals from Danny, Chad, and Archie.

The plan was implemented further in the second half, with AOS keeping the ball, being patient and eventually exploiting the space. A couple more goals came before the opponents pulled one back. A couple of decent saves from Luke, saw a penalty save in the bottom left corner to keep it at 6-1. Archie Dickens never stopped running, allowing a platform for the lads to run riot, especially when making the space for an unreal volley by the captain, to make it 7. In the last five minutes, blistering goals from both top scorer Danny and newbie Chad led to a comfortable 10-1 win.

Not much to report on, just a well-disciplined and exemplary performance by the side, who will face their toughest task yet against the 2nd best team in all divisions.
